Renewal Policy
There is nothing to cancel! We DO NOT automatically renew or recharge your credit card. In fact, we never have access to your personal credit card information (see Secure Online Ordering below), so it is impossible for us to add any charges to your card.
To renew, just as with your original order, you must manually enter all of your information yourself. If you do not wish to renew, there is nothing to cancel.
Secure Online Ordering
We process all transactions through Internet Secure. Their system encrypts your data, then routes it past us directly to your bank. At no time do we, or any unauthorized persons, have access to your credit card information, in any form. We do not even have access to the encrypted data.
Data Privacy Policy
Besides your name and e-mail address (and mailing address if provided with your order), we do not have or keep any information about you on file.
We do not sell your information, nor do we make it available to any other party. We do not abuse your trust in us by using your e-mail for any purpose beyond the requirements of your membership (ie- we e-mail you a receipt, and a thank-you message with your password).
Any written or verbal communications, comments, reviews, or testimonials sent to Modern Strategies Inc. or any of its functioning properties is considered property of Modern Strategies Inc. and may be used or replicated at our discretion.
Unlike companies that provide a tangible product that can be returned for a refund, our product is information. It can be used immediately upon viewing, and there is no product to return. To some degree there will always be the threat of individuals trying to get a 'free ride' by benefiting from the information AND getting their money refunded. We need to protect ourselves and our paying subscribers from such practices.
However, we also want to honor those valid requests for individuals who were truly not happy with the service if they have a legitimate basis for their complaint. For example, if our system was down for an extended period of time, or if the individual accidentally ordered twice.
We can not refund for reasons such as;
Our service requires patience and a commitment on the part of the investor. We are not a quick fix, and the service must be given a fair shot before results can be realized.
Full details of what our service provides to subscribers are detailed on our web site, and we do not make any promises for information and services that we do not render.
Our service is mainly to put out stocks that increase in value. These increases sometimes take several months to realize, and performance can be based on external factors beyond our control. Don't look for a refund if you have not exercised patience with the markets and with our research. Our track record speaks for itself, and members who have stayed with the service over the long term have benefited significantly.
How a Pro-Rated Refund is Calculated:
You do not get a return of 72% of the purchase price just because you have 72% of your membership remaining. We incur several costs to process your order (for example, in every transaction the credit card companies take a percentage, the e-commerce hosts take a percentage, etc...). We also have administration costs associated with new memberships, updating our database, and processing your information. There are additional time and capital costs to then reverse the transaction.
These overhead fees are removed from the membership costs, along with amounts for the duration of the subscription that was used.
It should be noted that your payment is for the first access. You are not paying monthly for a monthly newsletter. The fee is for first time access to the information. We then provide a commitment to our subscribers by allowing for ongoing access and updates throughout the following months, but this is as an additional perk for the service.
How To Qualify for a Pro-Rated Refund
To qualify you need to apply for your refund within 30 days from your original order. Only pro-rated refunds will be granted. You must have given the service a legitimate try. We will consider your application if you have accidentally ordered twice, or experienced ongoing and unresolved connection problems that were a direct result of technical difficulties in our Members Only section.
